Downtown Brooklyn Wedding Photographer

I was introduced to Brian & Jess who found me through their florist, Fernando of FDK Florals. I remember running into Fernando at an event I was covering back in 2019 and he said, “I have a couple for you and I think you’ll be a really good fit”.

One pandemic and a couple of reschedules later, the day finally came.

Jess got ready at the couple’s Ft Greene, Brooklyn apartment and wore a chic poplin off-the-shoulder dress with men’s shirting details by Danielle Frankel and classic white kitten heel sling-backs by Manolo Blahnik. To complete the look, she wore pearl drop earrings also by Danielle Frankel. Afterwards, so hopped in a car and made her way to the Ace Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn where Brian was prepped and where they would share their first look.

After portraits around the hotel, the couple, along with their wedding party, strolled a few blocks to Deity, where they would exchange vows and toast with friends and family.

The night wouldn't be complete when all the guests migrated to the venue’s subterranean party space and the bride surprised everyone with a dress change.
